LaserEquipment, Inc. was founded in February 1989 as one of the first recyclers in the metro Kansas City area.

After outgrowing three facilities in five years, we moved to our present location in nearby Lenexa in January 1994. In addition to a state-of-the-art facility, a full-service computer peripherals repair department specializing in laser printer repair was created in 1994. In 1998, we took over the space next to ours in Brookhollow, once again doubling our space.

We also expanded into the Springfield, Missouri market that same year. On February 1, 2000 LaserEquipment expanded its coverage of southern Missouri by establishing a presence in Joplin.
